MSI

Known primarily for their motherboards & graphics cards, MSI have now branched out into SFF cube territory, and how! They launched the 'MegaPC'!

What they've basically done, is to design a fully featured SFF cube, style it like one of those little all-in-one music systems and endow it with MP3 & CD playback via the BIOS. The playback from the BIOS seems to be something that many manufacturers are adding this year, but MSI win on the style front. It really doesn't look like a PC. It has all the usual connectivity on the front that you'd find on a cube, (which is stealthed behind a flap), along with a stealthed CD/DVD drive bay.

There's then a large knob & button on the front - these are used to control playback of sources. Then unit is available in AMD or Intel based innards & comes with a remote control. There is a 'plus' model, which adds a radio tuner & DVD playback. (Whether these can be performed without an OS booted is not clear).
