VIA Technologies

VIA were still heavily pushing the EPIA & EPIA-M series and associated accessories. (Nothing wrong with that, I love EPIA's!). News abounded of their new EPIA-M2 & CL motherboards. These will offer features like CF, PCMCIA slots & extra networking functionality. Good job that VIA are keeping up the good work with new and different mini-ITX stuff, as they now have plenty of competition in the offing from other manufacturers who have now set their sights on offering all sorts of CPU's in that size format...

VIA made a big thing of the Hush Technologies 'Hush' mini-iTX computer.....

Hush Technologies

News of their super sexy, all aluminum mini-iTX case and systems, hit the news a few weeks back and interest has been high. Thought you'd seen this before? Well, you'd be right! It's a rehash of the brilliant, but flawed Sigma P4 machine, which looked very similar and offered fully passive cooling for its CPU....

It's available in many colours and can be customised for OEM's. At the moment it seems unclear if anyone will be able to buy these cases on their own. Every indication seems to be that they will only be selling fully built systems. I for one, can't wait to get one in my hands for testing to see if it works as well as they manufacturers claim.
