Sonic Solutions, the new owner of Roxio, has acquired the privately-owned Swedish software house System OK with the intention of selling the company's backup and recovery apps under the Roxio brand.
The purchase - details of which have not been revealed - mean that we should soon be seeing System OK's BackOnTrack technology migrate from its northern European base onto the world stage and being sold in stand-alone packages and incorporated, perhaps, into an even more expansive next-generation Roxio Easy Media Creator suite.
