Qstik is making some big claims for its EVOQ DSP Bluetooth headset, saying that it beats hands down any of the digital-signal-processor models launched earlier in the month at CES.
The £60 headset is reckoned to integrate "military-grade bi-directional noise-cancellation and echo-cancellation technology with high-quality stereo music streaming, sophisticated speech enhancement and wireless VoIP capability" - all in a single lightweight (25g/0.88oz) package.
Features are said to include:
* Adaptive bi-directional

* Auto volume control, acoustic shock protection and speech enhancement, "originally developed for the call centre market"
* Ear-bud headset providing true stereo music experience

* Ability to listen to high quality music from A2DP-compliant mobile phones, PCs, laptops or other compatible music streaming devices
* An optional USB dongle that fully interoperates with EVOQ and is said to be fully-compliant with A2DP and AVRCP
* Switch between voice and high quality music

Qstik's home on the net is an eye-catching Flash-based site that offers ratjer too little info and makes navigation a chore rather than a pleasure, so we hope the company sort things out soon or, failing that, gets the product into the retail channel in the near future. Otherwise, it's likely to be falter badly.
