Keynote : Introduction
The second day of IDF has kicked off, and we are here reporting on the Day 2 Keynote. This keynote was structured around 3 main spokes persons. Which were each concentrating on different sectors, but carrying the common theme of convergence.
In overview; Burns covered digital home and the transformation of information across common platforms. Also covered was the 2 upcoming chipsets from Intel in the form of Canterwood and Springdale. Chandrasekher went in to more depth about the mobile market in the form of the Centrino, Dothan and Newport – also going in to detail about the 90nm process used with this product. Singer covered the mobile communications sector in the direction of the cellphone and wireless communication.
