Antec P193
Antec's P193, meanwhile, measures 51.4cm x 20.5cm x 59cm and weighs a notable 18.9kg. At first glance, its most obvious addition is the "Big Boy 200" - a 200mm fan that protrudes from the side of the chassis to maintain room inside.
Whilst functional, its awkward placement has had no shortage of detractors. Certainly an acquired taste, we reckon.
Inside, there's room for Extended ATX motherboards, along with extra-long graphics cards. It provides the same number of expansion slots and drive bays as the P183, but its equipped with additional cooling as standard.
The P193 ships with a quartet of fans - a 120mm at the rear, two 140mm fans up top, and the 200m Big Boy to the side. If that just doesn't cut it, there's also room for lower, middle and upper-front chamber fans too.
As with the P183, it sports all-new door vents and widened vents running alongside the front. Once again, the lower-chamber fan has been moved to make way for longer PSUs - including the Antec CP-series - and there's an eSATA port up front, sitting alongside the existing USB and audio connectors.
We've previously been impressed by Antec's Performance One chassis, but we're divided over the seemingly meaner look of the new additions. They're still certain to be mighty functional, we reckon, but not quite as sleek as they once were.
