Smart Technology with Striking Effects
Two years ago, LEPA has successfully introduced the first fan series. With the unique LED effects of the Casino and Chopper models, the manufacturer has quickly won the hearts of gamers and hardware enthusiasts. In the meantime, the LEPA engineers worked on new products and technological advancements to boost up the cooling performance of the fans. As a result, the company now presents the BOL.Quiet series with three new 12cm models. They are now available for sale in Europe.
The patented BOL Bearing from LEPA
All LEPA fans are based on a patented bearing technology. In comparison with usual ball bearing fans, LEPA's "Barometric Oilless Bearing" (BOL) ensures a smoother and quieter rotation. Furthermore, the BOL fans are designed for an extraordinary long lifetime of 160,000 hours MTBF! To reach such high performance capability, LEPA applies a self-lubricating sleeve made from a high-tech nano material as well as a magnet which connects the rotor with the base. That way, the manufacturer minimizes the contact area and can avoid annoying rattling or grinding noises.
New Fan Blades & Punched Frame for Higher Air Flow Rates
For the first time, LEPA introduces a fan with the path-breaking S-Blade rotor. The S-shaped blades with their winglets improve the air flow and limit the generation of noisy air turbulences. Furthermore, the manufacturer equips the BOL.Quiet fans with a sturdy metal frame with openings for a superior fresh air supply. The new type of frame is a modular construction which can be dissembled into three parts and will be a pleasure for DIY'er who like to modify or paint their hardware.
BOL.Quiet PWM: Automatic Speed Control & LED Lighting
The BOL.Quiet PWM 12cm is the premium model within the new fan series from LEPA. It comes with a 4-pin PWM connector for a precise tuning of fan speed and cooling performance according to the individual system configuration. Four blue or red LEDs light up your rig and will turn it into a real eye-catcher. The BOL.Quiet PWM 12cm in blue or red (LPBOL12P-B/LPBOL12P-R) costs 9.99 Euro (MSRP incl. VAT).

BOL.Quiet Tri-Speed: Silent Budget Fan with 3-Step RPM Control
The BOL.Quiet Tri-Speed is designed for silent PC systems and comes with an adapter for a flexible speed setting (12V = 1,600 RPM / 7V = 1,100 RPM / 5V = 800 RPM). LEPA provides four rubber mounts which not only simplify the installation but also reduce vibrations and the generation of noise. The MSRP for the new BOL.Quiet Tri-Speed 12cm (LPBOL12R) is 7.99 Euro.

Chopper: Continuation of the Successful Fan Series with the Kaleidoscope Effect
While all other fan series of the first generation will be discontinued, LEPA will keep selling the Chopper models. The LED fans with the striking kaleidoscope effect have found a lot of admirers in modding and gaming community, so that the manufacturer decided to follow users' demand and continue the Chopper series. The 12cm fans are available in blue (LPCP12N-BL) and red (LPCP12N-R) and cost 6.99 Euro (MSRP incl. VAT).
