PRESS RELEASE

Fresh Breeze

Hamburg, 2nd of August 2012. 14cm case fans have become increasingly popular. Due the bigger size, they can achieve a higher air flow rate at a lower speed and noise generation. In response to the users' demand, Enermax now extends its complete Twister fan range with 14cm models.

Powerful Batwing Blades & Durable Bearing

All are equipped with the powerful Batwing blades and the punched HALO frame that increase the air flow performance. Furthermore, all fans share the patented bearing technology. The Twister bearing relies on a simple principle. Enermax has put a small magnet into the rotor. When turning the fan on, a metal ball inside the bearing sleeve gets magnetized and keeps the fan blade on the shaft. The metal ball is the only contact point between rotor and shaft. That way, Enermax minimizes the noise generation and ensures a smooth rotation. Furthermore, the sleeve is made from a self-lubricating nano material that eliminates abrasion and guarantees a long lifetime with 100,000 hours MTBF.

T.B.Silence: Perfect Balance between Performance, Noise Generation and Price

The T.B.Silence series belongs to the most popular and best-selling case fan series in Europe. It offers a perfect balance between cooling performance and noise generation at a very attractive price-performance ratio. Enermax sells three different product lines - with fixed RPM, PWM control and manual speed regulation.

Cluster: White Elegancy with Wide Range RPM Control

Amongst the new 14cm models, the Cluster 14cm provides the most flexible and widest range RPM control. The speed can be regulated by the mainboard pulse-width modulation (PWM) between 600 and 1400 RPM according to the system's requirements. Cluster stands out by its decent and elegant design. The completely white fan is further equipped with four white LEDs that can be switched off in need.

Everest: Cool Design & Thermal RPM Control

The fan speed of the Everest series is automatically regulated by a thermal sensor that can be placed anywhere inside the system. Depending on the generated heat, the fan runs at 600 to 1200 RPM. The transparent frame and transparent blades in combination with the blue LED light give Everest a cool and glacial outlook. Certainly, the LEDs can be switched off as well.
