Xbox live arcade
The Xbox live marketplace is the place to go to download some great arcade games. My personal favourite is Wik: Fable of Souls, in which a strange man-frog uses a combination of jumping and his long, grapple-like tongue to navigate the world.It appears that Microsoft Game Studios may well be planning to bring some of the best arcade titles to one disc, although their new title could possibly be a range of new arcade games.
On the EB games website a product is listed called 'Arcade Unplugged' - okay it's not the most exciting sounding game of the year, but interesting that Microsoft haven't announced the title yet.
Retailers often list games on their websites before they even know a release date, but it's quite unusual to see a game appear that hasn't yet been mentioned. Unfortunately that is all the information available on the title, although the site does mention an October 10th release date, and a price tag of $39.99.
The latest game added to the list of arcade title on the maketplace is the classic party game Uno.
