Wrestlemania 21 – X-Box

More of a Big Daddy than a Macho Man, we got Nick Haywood drunk, wrapped him in spandex and, once we’d finished laughing, we let him loose on Wrestlemania 21

Hmm, the X-Box and wrestling games. There’s not exactly a glut of quality grapple games to satisfy the fans, is there? I mean, all you’ve really got is the mediocre WWF Raw and the pretty poor WWE Raw 2 along with the slightly off the wall Backyard Wrestling and the average Legends of Wrestling… And that just about covers it. There’s not much else out there that let’s WWE fans get to grips with their favourite bronzed and oiled heroes… That is up until now.

THQ have taken on Studio Gigante to have their first foray into the arena to see if they can’t wrangle some action out of the ring. Featuring a career mode where you create your own player from scratch, plenty of exhibition modes, unlockable special moves and online play, Wrestlemania 21 promises to smash a chair over the opposition’s head, tear it’s shirt off and ripple it’s pecks in a display of masculine superiority. Ding, ding, round one!
