Now we’re allowed to officially write about that creamy white box that’s been sitting here for the last 10 days, Team HEXUS has passed the time reading all about Microsoft’s latest console on pretty much every gaming site on the web. I swear, if we see just one more picture of the front of an Xbox 360, unless it’s got a naked and oiled Kiera Knightley dangling off it, I going to scream! We all know what the front of the thing looks like, we’ve known for months, ever since Microsoft launched the Xbox 360 at E3 way back in May… and this morning, every lucky gamer who’s got their hands on one knows what the thing looks like.

Well the fact is that other than a few rather good US sites doing some excellent coverage (AnandTech’s dismantling of the Xbox 360 was cool) it seems that few, if any sites are actually bothering with the back end of the Xbox 360… and that is possibly where some of the more interesting bits are to be found. Sure, for the sake of completeness we’ll take a peak at the front, but for the minute, let’s just have a look at what’s going on around the back and how what goes on here is going to fit in with your home gaming/media experience.
