Conclusion
I don’t mind games ripping off other games, after all, the Bitmap Brothers did it with great aplomb back in the days of the Amiga and made some cracking games through taking the best ideas from everyone else and putting them in one game. Blue 52, the developers of Stolen have done the same but somehow managed to hash it up at almost every stage. Graphically, this looks like a PS1 game and plays worse. The only person who’d find this fun is the stealth junkie who just cannot wait for the next version of Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid and even then I doubt they’d get a massive amount of enjoyment from it.
If this were a bargain bin release, then I might consider giving it a half hearted recommendation, but at full price Stolen will leave you feeling robbed.
