Game overview

You play the part of Anya Romanov, an expert hi-tech thief, as you run around some very large levels performing all sorts of acrobatics to get to your objective. The full range is on show here with wall running, ledge clambering, vaulting, rolling, flipping and generally any move that’d win you a 6 from the judges in the Olympics. The purpose of these antics is to get to your chosen bit of loot and pinch it whilst avoiding the guards, security systems and anything else placed in your way.

There is a story woven in-between the levels, though to be honest, it’s about as fresh and interesting as the rest of the game, i.e., not. The cut scenes don’t really explain what’s happening either, so you find yourself starting a level and not really knowing WHY you have to go and nick an object. This is a problem as it takes away any motivation to play the game. Why bother wrangling your way through an hour of play to steal something when you’re not too sure why you’re pilfering it in the first place?
