I'd like a brand new combine harvester
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility begins with a slow introduction to part-time jobs around the farm, allowing you to get to grips with the new control scheme. Before too long the mayor issues you with a plot of land and from this point forth it’s a case of watering crops, cutting down trees, tilling soil, tending to livestock and doing anything you can to build and create your ideal family farmland. That’s not all there is to it though, we’ll also be able to fit ourselves out in various clothes, redecorate our homes, go fishing, care for animals, play mini-games, such as insect catching, or go on the hunt for a new spouse. Aside from the control scheme, a new storyline and new animals, including polar bears and ostriches, there seems to be little innovation since the last Harvest Moon game.
Still, it's a formula that has prove to be very successful and now Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility will give new Wii-owning fans the chance the find out why the series is so popular.
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is due for release in North America on 26th August. A European release date has yet to be announced.
