A nifty little add-on for all of us who’re fed up getting tangles up in the Xbox 360’s communicator’s wire
No doubt you’ll have just read about the Joytech Control Centre 540C for the Xbox 360, but Joytech’s Xbox 360 gizmos don’t stop with that, oh no.Now we’ve got the flashy little NEO Communicator, a nifty little add-on for all of us who’re fed up getting tangled up in the Xbox 360’s communicator’s wire which always seems to get in my way.
As you can see from the pics, the NEO Communicator is bloody tiny and just slots right into the Xbox 360 joypad’s socket as a normal Communicator headset would. The NEO Communicator draws the power it needs from the joypad, so no need for batteries meaning the NEO Communicator doesn’t unbalance the joypad.
You’ve now got your friends smack talking to you over the speaker, which has a handy on/off switch should the inane babble get too much and to send them some bitch-talking back-chat, just hit either of the little paddles hidden away underneath.
In practice the NEO Communicator has been rather brilliantly designed to give those otherwise idle third or little fingers something to do as your hand naturally curves around to where the microphone paddles are anyway.
