Not content with trying to corner the videogame periperhal market with its range of controllers and headsets, Mad Catz has announced it is to become a publisher of Xbox 360 videogames.

Mad Catz hasn't announced any games at this particular point, just stating in a press release that it can now "submit games to be published on the Xbox 360.

Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. said, “The execution of the Xbox 360 Publisher License Agreement marks an important milestone as we pursue our longer term goal of expanding our participation in developing, publishing and distributing games.”

Should be interesting to see what Mad Catz comes up with. No doubt it will create a line of peripherals to tie in with each game.
