RPG coming to console?

Although it hasn't been officially confirmed by The Witcher developer, CD Projekt, the clues point firmly to the fact that the company will be working on an Xbox 360 port of their recent PC role-playing game.

An advertisement on The Witcher website calls for a programmer to work on an Xbox 360 title. Of course this could be anything, but the biggest clue that it is The Witcher (aside from the ad appearing on the official site) is that they are seeking a 'parallel programmer' to work on the title. For those who are not familiar with programming terms, 'parallel programming' is a technique used to port a title from platform to another.

We'll bring you the official word from the company as soon as possible.

The Witcher transcends traditional fantasy role-playing by throwing players into a world rife with political intrigue, in which the lines between good and evil are blurred, with players taking the role of Geralt, a legendary monster slayer and master swordfighter with supernatural abilities and reflexes. You can read our opinion in this comprehensive PC review of The Witcher.

A PC demo of The Witcher was released on Friday and is available now on the official site

Good news, more people deserve to enjoy this game, and I think it'll be quite well suited to gamepad play as well :)
That's pretty cool, hopefully it will be better tested than the PC version.

I can imagine the sex achievements now XD
I agree, would be nice to see this on 360 and agree with Kalniel above, the game play could work well with a pad. It's a great game and deserves more recognition.
