Ubisoft is celebrating great success with the release of Assassin's Creed after it became the second fastest selling new IP on an individual format behind ‘The Getaway’ on PS2 and went straight into the charts at number one.Just because you're first doesn't necessarily mean you're the best and we'll have a full hype-less Assassin's Creed review later in the week,nevertheless Ubisoft will be delighted to knock the hugely popular Call of Duty 4 of the top spot. This is the company's first number 1 since GRAW 2 in March.
Other new entries this week include the amazing Super Mario Galaxy, which has debuted at number 5 and Crysis, which has snuck in at number 14.
