Looks good but seems a bit F.E.A.R.-like to me....
New screenshots for Showdown: Scorpion have been released which do look pretty cool, but it has to be said the game has been in development for ages. The last time this popped up on our radar screens was way back at E3 2006… but at least it looks like Akella are finally nearing completion.The storyline for Showdown: Scorpion is about as convoluted as it can get with a near-future Earth in a state of economic and environmental meltdown as big corporate run states find evidence of powerful alien artefacts in Sudan. There’s some sort of crisis which leads to the development of a special unit with wide ranging powers that takes on a mysterious corporation risen from the ashes of conflict…
