FIFA 11

Release Date - 1 October, 2010

FIFA Soccer 11 promises to be the most technically advanced, feature-heavy football game to date, and judging by the list of new innovations, which includes the Personality+ feature, it's going to be well worth the wait.



Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Platforms - Xbox 360, PS3
Release Date - 7 October, 2010

A fresh and radical re-imagining of the vastly popular series with an epic tale of love, despair and hope, in a time when the dead walk among the living. Lords of Shadow is a third person action adventure title featuring 50 levels with combat, platforming and puzzle elements.


Medal of Honor
Platforms - PC, Xbox 360, PS3
Release Date - 15 October

Medal of Honor returns to the front line this year, but this time it ditches the World War II theatre in favour of war-torn Afghanistan. The game will feature a single-player campaign, in which the player will control multiple characters from both the “Tier 1” and “Big Military” perspectives. The storyline will follow several "Tier One Operators" working under the National Command Authority in Afghanistan during the 2001 War in Afghanistan


Fallout: New Vegas
Platforms - PC, Xbox 360, PS3
Release Date - 22 October, 2010

Fallout: New Vegas takes place during the year 2280, three years after Fallout 3 and 203 years after the Great War of 2077, making this installment the chronologically latest in the series thus far.

The game is set in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, Nevada and the Mojave Desert known as the "Mojave Wasteland" which is roughly the same size as the "Capital Wasteland" in Fallout 3



Fable III
Platforms - PC, Xbox 360
Release Date - 26 October, 2010

Molyneux has largely ditched the traditional RPG mechanic from Fable III, the emphasis being on removing "clunkiness" and making the game more accessible to all. Kinect compatibility was announced and then dumped, but we're still promised a more immersive experience and the best game in the series so far.

LEGO Universe
Platforms - PC
Release Date - 26 October, 2010

The full-featured MMOG will be complete with character advancement, expansive social and community features, and will provide a child-safe alternative to other MMOGs on the market.


Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Platforms - PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS
Release Date - 29 October, 2010

This time around the story continues as players once again assume the role of the devastatingly powerful Starkiller - Darth Vader's secret apprentice set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.

We can expect a whole host of new additions to the series including new Force powers, combos and enemies, plus the ability to dual wield lightsabers - hell yeah!



Rock Band 3
Platforms - Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS
Release Date - 29 October, 2010

As with previous games in the series, Rock Band 3 allows players to simulate the playing of rock music and other genres using special instrument controllers mimicking lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. The soundtrack is immense with the likes of The White Stripes, Ozzy Ozbourne and The Steve Miller Band providing some classic tunes.
