We're expecting a lot from the sequel to Electronic Art's co-op shooter. The first game was entertaining, but had plenty of room for improvement,which many will be looking to see in The 40th Day.
In The 40th Day you must work as a team to survive relentless enemy assaults and escape the city of Shanghai as it collapses. EA promises one of the most robust weapon customization systems ever found in a videogame, allwowing players to mix and match weapon parts found in the world and execute strategic two-man tactics.
It's another big budget production from EA and early signs suggest that we're in for an explosive, action-packed experience. If the mechanics are right, we could already be enjoying one of the finest co-op experiences of the year in just a few weeks time.
