Batman Arkham Asylum - PC, Xbox 360, PS3
What we said...

Batman Arkham Asylum is indisputably the best use of the Batman license to date; a wonderfully-realised cinematic production that deserves all of the plaudits that it will undoubtedly get.

Borderlands - PC, Xbox 360, PS3
What we said...

Part of its appeal lies in looting and spending your cash on the near-endless supply of excellent weaponry, but the smooth combat mechanics, entertaining enemies and clever level design also compliment the engaging visual style superbly.

Modern Warfare 2 - PC, Xbox 360, PS3
What we said...

While Modern Warfare 2 doesn’t quite surpass the greatness of ‘Modern Warfare’ in terms of epic moments, it still offers a roller-coaster ride full of thrills, and a top notch production that Hollywood movie bosses would be proud of. Beyond the enjoyable single-player campaign there's a wealth of quality content both in Special Ops and online multiplayer, more than enough to keep you busy until the next iteration in this brilliant series.
