System requirements?

The system recommendations that Snazzi currently has on its web site are incomplete but do take in Windows XP with SP2; a 2.8GHz (or higher) P4 CPU (but dual Xeons or Opeterons with packages bundled with Aspect HD); 1GByte of RAM, either dual-channel PC3200 DDR or 1066 MHz RDRAM; a 7,200rpm IDE hard disk (Sata preferred); Snazzi's own SnaZio* FX540 graphics card; and a sound card able to deal with 48kHz audio.

Logically, though, the spec should be based on what Adobe and CineForm give for their software.

Adobe's recommendations look to be unrealistically modest, so better, perhaps to go along with what CineForm suggests for Aspect HD.

That means DirectX 9 has to be installed, a Raid 0 array is recommended and, whatever the graphics card chosen, it must use its own on-board memory rather than memory shared with the PC. Presumably, too, it needs to be DX9-compatible but CineForm doesn't say. BC
