PRESS RELEASE
Dust off your shades, cast off the shackles of your winter jumpers and let those legs loose, because it is the season to be even more jolly - it's spring!
As spring pokes its head through those darkly drawn curtains of winter, it's really the first time that you remember there's a world out there beyond the comfort and warmth of your living room. So, to celebrate the onset of adventure and the arrival of exploration, the Mio team has put together a list of four of Britain's finest adventures for the whole family's delectation this April. London, Brighton, Wales - we've got something for everyone, so cast your eyes over this list.
1. Battersea Park Zoo
Battersea Park Children's Zoo can be found in the heart of South London and is a must see if you and the kids are in the local area.
The zoo offers animal encounters, a play area and a relaxing café so it's a perfect one-stop-shop for parents looking for an easy way to entertain the kids.
Come face to face with a ring tailed lemur, hang out with a meerkat, kick back with the Kune Kune pigs - or just chill out with a pygmy goat - there are animals for everyone and it's a great way to while away a day in the capital.
