The Beatles have lost the first round in the latest of a long series of court battles over Apple Computer's use of an apple logo in music-related business, according to the BBC.
This time, the argument is about iPods, iTunes and the iTunes store. Justice Anthony Mann is reported to have ruled that there was no case to answer because iTunes is a sort of electronic shop and doesn't involve creative work.
Clearly, Apple Corps - controlled by the remaining Beatles and the families of George and John - doesn't think that the verdict is a fair reflection of the evidence presented - it's planning to take the case to the Court of Appeal.
