It has three levels: basic, advanced and expert. In basic mode a number of background applications are shut down and a hardware configuration called AMD Boost is turned on. Advanced is similar but offers more options and Expert lets you get involved in overclocking and that sort of thing, working in conjunction with Overdrive.
