What next?

HC: What measures would AMD have to take for Intel to be satisfied that the alleged breach has been corrected?

CM: We have always been willing to negotiate license agreements for our IP in exchange for fair value.  But before we do that in this case we must get the parties to agree that the transfer of the Intel rights to the foundry is allowed under the agreement.

HC: Can you confirm the deadline Intel has set for these measures to be taken?

CM: The only thing I can confirm is that we will meet with AMD and a mediator to resolve this matter.  This step is outlined as part of a dispute resolution process contained in the agreement.

HC: Can you detail what action Intel will take if it's not satisfied that these measures have been taken?

CM: We won't speculate on next steps beyond the answer above.

HC: Does Intel have the right to terminate AMD's rights and licenses under the cross license?

CM: Yes.
