Benchmark: Noise

What matters most to HTPC users: in-game frame rates, power consumption, temperature or noise? A fair few would probably opt for the latter, and that of course is the area in which the Sapphire HD 7750 Ultimate really shines. The card makes no noise (save for the electric variety, if you're pedantic about such things) and allows our Sandy Bridge test platform to remain quiet even when gaming.

You'd need a system tuned for quiet computing to realise the full benefit, but if silence is of the utmost importance, the Sapphire card is a very safe bet; it makes no noise and offers excellent cooling. But kudos to the single-slot VTX3D solution, too, we were worried about the noise of its small fan, but the card is barely audible in our test platform when idle, and it doesn't get particularly loud when gaming, either.
