Benchmarks: Power Consumption

We expect mini PCs to draw less than 15 watts from the wall when idling. Zotac's Zbox EI750 isn't quite so efficient and though the 20-watt reading won't have a major impact on the electricity bill, it's proof that the box could be better optimised.

With the processor running flat out, under-load power draw is visibly lower than Gigabyte's comparable Brix Pro.

The lower-than-expected power draw when gaming can also be attributed to the fact that the IGP isn't always running at full speed.
