Benchmarks: Temperature
Operating temperature is another area in which the 3XS Cyclone SLI manages to impress. Despite the heavy overclocks, both CPU and GPU temperatures are kept well within comfortable limits.
Intel's Core i7-2600K, overclocked to an extreme 4.7GHz, manages to keep close to 70ºC under extreme load. The hot-running NVIDIA GPUs may have been more of a concern, but the liquid-cooling does its job well - keeping both graphics cores close to the 80ºC mark.
The Be Quiet! Dark Rock PRO BK016 CPU cooler and EK GPU waterblocks are working well, but as you're about to discover, the low temperatures do come at the expense of system noise.
