Presentation

Standard power supply box size, it's obvious what you're buying from the box detailing.

The box mentions support for the 2.1 and 2.2 ATX power supply standards, as well as the recently ratified 2.03 standard. With the 2.03 standard bringing in mandatory SATA connectors (at least two, able to share a cable) and the 2.1 and 2.2 standards refining the concepts introduced with 2.03, the Hiper is a forward looking supply.

Inside the box you get the power supply, the multi-language manual and a pair of power cords for hooking up to your mains supply.

Manual

The manual does a decent job of explaining the specifications and operating ranges of the HPU-3S350 in a clear and easy to read fashion. Thumbs up in that respect.

The label on the side of the supply outlines the basic specification, with the manual explaining the extended specifications. While the manual doesn't go into the same kind of detail as Tagan's TG480-U01 manual, it's a decent stab at things.

Average presentation and manual, but then it's a power supply, what other effort needs to be made? Let's take a closer look at the supply.
