Overclocking

We've yet to see a GTX 980 Ti overclock quite as well as Titan X, but EVGA's Superclocked+ ACX+ gets close. A click here and a click there and we soon had the card operating at base and boost clocks of 1,230MHz and 1,318MHz, respectively. The 6GB frame buffer, meanwhile, had no trouble reaching an effective 7,800MHz.

The little extra work ekes out another 10 per cent in terms of performance, and that's enough to put EVGA's card ahead of the dual-GPU Radeon R9 295X2 in certain games.
