Praised both by critics and gamers, the latest instalment of the Total War series takes strategy enthusiasts back to 16th-century Japan and presents a lavish blend of 3D real-time battles and turn-based management.
The overclock has closed the gap in Total War: Shogun 2 - it's hard to tell the difference between HD 7770 Vapor-X and HD 6850 - but that isn't enough. Considering the price premium, the HD 7770-based card needs to be well ahead of the previous-generation competition. Heck, even the ASUS GTX 560 DirectCU is today available for £130.
