Praised both by critics and gamers, the latest instalment of the Total War series takes strategy enthusiasts back to 16th-century Japan and presents a lavish blend of 3D real-time battles and turn-based management.

ASUS's GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP is the winner once again, and the card's dual-fan cooler appears to be coming into play. During the lengthy Total War: Shogun 2 benchmark, we found that the ASUS card was able to maintain higher GPU Boost frequencies for longer spells, which in turn suggests that the card's thermal performance will be better than EVGA's GTX 670 FTW.
