Overclocking

An 845MHz core and 3,800MHz memory are already pretty healthy clocks for a GTX 570. There's no harm in pushing it farther, and we did so by using the company's OC Guru software and bumping up voltages by 10 per cent.

Whaddya know: the highest frequencies we've ever seen from a GTX 570 GPU.

And they're worth around 20 per cent over the as-shipped GTX 570 SO and 25 per cent above a stock-clocked card.

Overclocking the card to within an inch of its life puts it ahead of the also-factory-overclocked GTX 580 SOC from Gigabyte. It's the first time this class of GPU has broken 50fps in the high-quality Just Cause 2 test.
