StarCraft II
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a sequel that improves on the original with an excellent campaign mode, incredible cut scenes and a multiplayer experience that never seems to grow old. Real-time-strategy games don't come much better than this.
Real-time strategy games don't stress a GPU quite like your regular first-person-shooter and in StarCraft II a nippy CPU can make all the difference.
In order to see how well our GPUs fare, we force 2xAA in the respective AMD and NVIDIA control panels, resulting in improved image quality but lower framerates. With these settings, the NVIDIA cards have a distinctive edge and the GTX 550 Ti - armed with a 1GB frame buffer hooked up to a generous 192-bit interface - performs admirably.
