Power, Temperature and Noise

As a further comparison, the Founders Edition card, which is slower on both core and memory, pulls about 40W less than either the Aorus or Inno3D. That said, a sub-300W figure is positively frugal compared to a high-end build five years' ago.

It seems like Aorus is not prioritising temperature as much as recent Gigabyte cards do. There's absolutely no problem with 76°C, mind.

And it's also quiet. Though our graphs show it to be louder than the Inno3D, the 'whooshing' sound isn't intrusive as such. Yet digging further, our logs show the fans spin at 2,000rpm, which is considered high for a GTX 1080.
