SunSpider is used to evaluate a browser's JavaScript performance. Intel chips fare better than AMD's here.
We run the OpenCL-accelerated LuxMark test on the chips' graphics. AMD's stronger IGP certainly comes to the fore in this benchmark.
Yet relative position is largely dictated by the benchmark used. PCMark 7 assesses all-round performance and gives the nod to the Ivy Bridge-based Core i3-3225.
