Finally, for this article at least, we've got a couple of the notebooks that ASUS are showing at Computex this year. One thin and light, one fat and powerful.

S300N

The S300N is the world's thinnest and lightest widescreen notebook, with an 8.9 inch 16:10 widescreen LCD display and less than 1.3Kg of weight.

Powered by Pentium-M and Intel 855GME, the S300N can also pack in 1GB of memory and comes with 802.11b/g dual-standard WiFi out of the box.

W1000N Deluxe

The W1000N Deluxe is a 15.4 inch widescreen notebook with Pentium-M power, i855PM and ICH4M support, ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 64MB and 802.11b/g wireless. There's 3 USB ports, card reader, TV tuner, radio tuner and 5 speaker 4.1 sound with subwoofer.
