The cooler

If the overclocking ceiling of the RAM turns out not to be that high, we're fairly sure Sapphire's TOXIC watercooling system will provide some hefty breathing room for increasing the core clock.

Here's the cooling unit. It needs an expansion slot of its own, but it's only attached to the graphics card by piping, so it can be placed in whichever slot tickles your fancy. A 12V pump is contained within the unit, along with a heat exchanger over which the fan blows, spinning at either 2000 or 2500rpm.

The cooling system behaves like all good graphics card coolers should, expelling the hot air out of the back of the system, rather than dumping extra heat into the computer.

Sapphire's so confident in this card that it reckons it's the fastest consumer graphics card on the planet:

The highly efficient cooling system will allow enthusiasts to enhance performance by overclocking the unit well above the standard speeds of 650MHz engine clock and 1000MHz (2000MHz effective) memory clock, making this easily the fastest single GPU graphics solution available.
