IT distributor, Target Components, has launched a range of the popular "Dummies" range of reference books.
The range is set to compliment Target's existing range of IT peripherals and accessories, whilst also providing its customers with an additional revenue stream away from hardware.
The Dummies brand is world-recognised and trusted brand of instructional books, audiobooks and multimedia, currently boasting in excess of 1600 titles with 200 million copies in circulation around the world.
Target's Purchasing Manager, Kelly Coxon, said "the Dummies books are instantly recognisable with their distinctive black-and-yellow covers, but, much more than that, they are the world's most trusted instructional books.
They also help our customers to address a whole new customer base: where people visiting their premises might traditionally be after hardware or repairs, the Dummies brand will attract even the most ardent technophobes instore".
Target's initial range of Dummies products consists primarily of IT-related titles, covering software programmes, tablets and netbooks but also includes titles that cover marketing and social media, with more titles being added regularly.
