Silicon Power, a Taiwan-based manufacturer of all-things flash, today announced the launch of its 32GB SDHC Class 6 memory card.
The memory card, pictured right, is one of few 32GB SDHC solutions on the market to be certified by the SD Card association's Class 6 speed rating. Class 6 - currently the highest SDHC rating available - specifies a minimum write speed of 6MB/s, making this little card one of the quickest available.
Silicon Power claims the card to be ideal for "professional users to conveniently store hours of high quality video without carrying many flash cards", and a "perfect match for high-end digital cameras".
It joins Silicon Power's existing 4GB, 8GB and 16GB Class models, and measures in at 24mm x 32mm x 2.1mm and weighs 2g. The card will ship with a lifetime warranty, but there's no word on pricing just yet.
