Cheats never prosper
Blizzard and VU Games have suspended 18,000 World Of Warcraft accounts. Many of those banned decided to bend the rules by using third party programs to farm gold and re-sell items in the real world.
World Of Warcraft has approximately 5 million subscribers and the website has said, "We will continue to actively monitor all World of Warcraft realms in order to protect the service and its players from the negative effects of cheating. Please note that selling World of Warcraft content, such as gold, items, and characters, can result in the permanent removal of the involved accounts from World of Warcraft."
The website has asked that gamers should keep an eye out for any illegal goings on in Azeroth and report them immediately.
