G.Skill jumps on PCIe SSD bandwagon with Phoenix Blade series
Soon to be available in 480GB and 960GB capacities.
Both use multiple SandForce SF2281 SSD controllers, RAIDed, for M.2-busting performance.

Yep…PCIe 3 can deliver 985 MB/s, per lane…and up to 16 lanes per device. So fairly quick :)
