Benchmarks: CPU
Intel's six-core, 12-thread Core i7-5930K is able to strut its stuff in the multi-threaded Cinebench and Handbrake tests, where the DinoPC BX1 leads the way.
That isn't the case in the single-threaded PiFast examination, mind, where the 4.5GHz overclock isn't enough to compensate for the CPU's ageing architecture. Remember, the i7-5930K might have six cores, but they're from the Haswell generation, which has since been superseded by Broadwell and Skylake. The chip isn't cutting edge, yet it's still plenty fast.
