Graphical Tests
Graphical tests now to see what on-board core performance is like, bearing in mind it's barely competent with DX7-class titles, never mind some of the DX9 tests we use.3DMark 2001 SE leads the way.
Ghastly performance with the Intel core, passable performance when 9800XT-equipped. Expect a similar pattern of performance in the rest of the tests.
Spot the trend?
X² shows the same pattern, the Intel core unable to cope with this DX9 test which has to be executed almost entirely on the CPU. When using the Radeon, the SB61G2 is ever so slightly off the pace.
