Remember how we spoke about the limitations of a SATA-based storage when most other machines are equipped with M.2 drives? Here is the proof of that pudding, so it's a shame that the One doesn't use the spare M.2 slot on the MSI motherboard. Will you notice the lack of speed in real-world cases? Probably not, but that's not really the point. The One is showcased as a 'category defying' PC.
