Sequential performance across the 840 EVO range is good, but look close enough and you find a performance gap between low- and high-capacity models. TurboWrite is optimised for a queue depth of one, and when the drive is bombarded with 4K data at a queue depth of 32, the 750GB drive's full use of processor bandwidth makes it better-equipped at dealing with this sort of workload. Performance is up there alongside the premium 840 PRO series.
