The Aurum's 135mm fan remains on at all times. That would normally mean it's louder than the hybrid-fan supplies that have become popular of late. Yet the graphs do not bear this out because the large fan spins very slowly at low loads - slow enough not to be heard.
One would expect a 1,200W supply to become warmer than 850W models as it needs to push out more power. The cooling design appears to work well for FSP however.
