Introduction

From the first time I saw this mouse pad I thought "God is out there somewhere!". I had previously been using either no mouse mat or sometimes a dodgy free one - all for a long time too. I was sick of mouse mats - the mouse would get stuck, and sometimes become very dirty inside. So, I had to try a Ratpadz out! Being an avid Quake 2 and Quake 3 player, and also being in a clan, I was hoping this would make my mouse move faster, more precise and more freely - and it sure did!

On the Ratpadz site they say it is large and they are not joking! I had to move my keyboard out of the way and clear space on my desk for it to fit! With a size of 29.2cm by 23.5cm, it sounds just larger than a normal mouse mat which approximately measures 20cm by 26cm. These extra centimetres make an amazing amount of difference!

The mouse pad is well built and has bevelled edges. These go all around the pad and are very smooth, with a slight cut out at the front of the pad to allow the wrist to move in a smoother and easier circular motion.
